Part of the coast line rehabilitation which is underway on the east side of the island of Xiamen is the planning of an ecological tourist zone close to the international airport.

Our project, a research center, lay at the boundary of this site, and has been designed as a landmark to reflect the image of the company, a textile manufacturer. The circular shaped building, reminiscent of the Hakka nearby fortified compounds, will house 2 parts (one for support facility, one for research center above) allowing great views to the waterscape on the North.
