The scope of the work is about the remodeling of 3 groups of residential buildings as well as for a market associated with the main pedestrian entrance. This development, already quite successful in terms of image and marketing, belongs to the 3rd phase of a large residential compound, Water-Flowers, located in the new government area of Shenzhen. In association with the first and second phase, which theme is about water (proximity of Xiangmi Lake), the third phase theme is about the forest.

Our proposal is to enhance this theme, using wood as symbol for the market (roof canopy, bridge) and for the residences (roof canopy, lobby, screen…), as well as creating an opposition between the south façade, largely open and in relation to the residential landscape, and the north façade which belongs to the cityscape.
