For the past recent years the south part of Shekou has remodeled its image to become an exciting international hub for the well educated new white collars as well as for the expatriate community nearby.

The project is about an old factory, set along the main road, whose facades have been redesigned in order to create an image more adequate with the new office function lay-out.

Our proposal was to emphasize the linear dynamic as well as creating a new “grid” layer for the facade, acting as street “buffer” as well as for solar protection.
